Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, and now living in Dallas, Texas, my experience as a mineral collector began at one of the world’s finest geology and mineral museums. My father, a volcanologist at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, gave me the unique opportunity to experience days within the museum's halls and wandering in the backrooms. This early exposure to top-notch specimens left its mark, forming a lasting impact on my personal preferences and fostering a lifelong enthusiasm and appreciation for fine minerals.

My personal collection is focused on high-quality worldwide thumbnails. As a collector, I have a disciplined and selective eye, choosing specimens that highlight the best aspects of a species and locality with exceptional form and balanced composition. I value provenance as much as I do aesthetics, seeking out pieces where a rich history is paired with perfect crystal form. I aim to have a collection where every thumbnail specimen commands the same presence as a cabinet-sized piece, proving that extraordinary impact is defined by quality rather than size.
